Using v0 with the Uniform MCP server

v0 by Vercel now supports connecting MCP servers directly in its interface. By connecting the Uniform MCP Server to v0, you can generate React components from natural language prompts and have them automatically created as Uniform component definitions in your project — without leaving v0.

This workflow lets you go from a design idea to a fully structured, content-editable Uniform component in minutes. Once components are registered in Uniform, your content team can immediately start editing content, personalizing experiences, and running A/B tests — all without touching code.

Some things you can do with this combined workflow:

  • Generate a hero component with editable fields straight from a prompt
  • Create card grids with hover effects and have them appear instantly in Uniform Canvas
  • Use Uniform's AI assistant to set up A/B tests on the content your components expose
  • Wire up external data sources like Shopify or Salesforce to populate your new components
