Two new Mesh capabilities are now available in developer preview: the Data Resource Selector location and the Editor state API. Together, they help custom integrations deliver richer authoring experiences inside the visual editor.
Replace Uniform's default JSON tree with a custom UI when authors select a path from a data resource for a dynamic token. Highlight only the most relevant fields, preview resolved values, and filter to valid paths so authors can choose the right value faster.

Read and update whatever an author is editing, whether it is a composition, entry, or pattern, from a Mesh location using the Editor state API. Inspect the content tree, update properties, insert, move, or delete nodes, and switch locales. It is available in the Editor tools, Parameter Type, and Data Resource Selector locations.

Start building with the Data Resource Selector location and the Editor state API to create more guided, powerful authoring experiences. Both capabilities require @uniformdev/mesh-sdk version 20.66.1 or later.
Both capabilities are in developer preview while we gather feedback, so APIs may change. We'd love to hear how you're using them.
