Uniform app for Contentstack

At its core, personalization involves several things.

  • Defining content that appeals to different kinds of visitors
  • Classifying visitors
  • Making the right content available to a visitor based on their classification

The Uniform app for Contentstack incorporates personalization into the content management process. Content authors are given the ability to configure personalization without involving developers. Developers are given the tools to add personalization to their applications without having to write a lot of custom code.

How does it work?

The Uniform app for Contentstack enables you to incorporate personalization into your content types using custom fields. There are two types of custom fields you can use:

  1. Personalization criteria - Define the set of entries that should be used under different conditions. This field type lets you define those condition. When you add Uniform Context to your front-end application, those conditions will be evaluated and content from only the appropriate entries is used.
  2. Enrichment tagging - This is like adding metadata tags to a web page that, instead being used to describe the content on the page, are used to describe the interests of the visitor.
