Sitecore XM / XP integration

Sitecore is a legacy digital experience management platform (DXP), which includes a CMS at its core.

This integration allows business users to build personalized digital experiences (web sites, web apps, mobile apps, etc.) by repurposing content from your Sitecore XM or XP instance. It also enables developers to use their preferred front-end tools to build these applications.

This section provides guides on how to use Uniform with Sitecore XM/XP and applies to Sitecore 8.2 and above.

Uniform does not require you to upgrade your Sitecore version, or change your current Sitecore license, or install Headless Services from Sitecore.

  1. Modernize your front-end and repurpose content in your Sitecore CMS.
  2. Reduce your Sitecore dependency and lock-in by leveraging Uniform as truly open composable integration layer.
  3. Incrementally reduce dependencies within your Sitecore solution to minimum - and turn your Sitecore solution use case into a headless CMS.
  4. Execute incremental migration from Sitecore to a modern composable architecture using best-of-need components.
  5. Without needing to perform an expensive upgrade, give marketers a modern friendly visual authoring tool to build pages without developer dependency.
  6. Consolidate and reduce cost on your Sitecore license and cloud infrastructure.
  7. Give marketing team fast edge-side personalization and A/B testing with your Sitecore content that runs without flicker.
