Akeneo Product Cloud is the complete and composable SaaS-based solution to activate your product story wherever your customers are. Deliver engaging, world-class product experiences across all your owned and unowned channels with agility and accuracy.

This integration allows business users to build personalized landing pages and storefronts by repurposing asset and product content from your Akeneo PIM. It also enables developers to use their preferred front-end tools to build these applications.

Adding the Akeneo integration to your Uniform project adds new parameter types that you can add to your Uniform Canvas components.

Before you start

You must have the following available to complete this setup:

  • Akeneo account with the Administrator role assigned.
  • Uniform account with administrator access. If you don't already have one, you can request an account at https://uniform.dev/try.

Uniform communicates with Akeneo through an authorization token. This token is generated when the Uniform application is installed in Akeneo.

  1. Log into Akeneo.

  2. Navigate to Connect > App Store.

  3. Search for the application Uniform.

  4. Click CONNECT.

  5. Click ALLOW AND NEXT.

  6. Tick all the checkboxes and click NEXT.

  7. Click CONFIRM.

  8. Copy the token that's displayed. You will need this value in the next section.

  1. In Uniform, open your project.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations tab.

  3. Scroll to the section Browse Integrations.

  4. Click Akeneo.

  5. Click Add to project.

  6. Enter the required fields.

    UrlThe URL you use to log into Akeneo.
    Auth TypeApplication
    TokenThe authorization token provided when you added the Uniform for Akeneo app.
  7. Click Test to ensure the settings you entered are working correctly.

  8. Click Save.
